Our story - Your experience

Queen Blanka was Sweden's queen in the 14th century and loved Varberg's beautiful coastal landscape. Here she lived with her husband, Sweden's King Magnus Eriksson. 

In Varberg she found her paradise and several places in Varberg bear witness to her presence. One of her favorite places was Varberg's fortress. There was her beautiful herb garden. In another part of the city, there is Drottning Blanka's park. 

We want the History of Queen Blanka to live on and therefore welcome you into our historic hotel property where Queen Blanka's life lives on. If you live in room 1 or 2, you will feel the breezes of her herb garden.
